Hi there everyone,

Was overtaking earlier and as I put my foot down a bit more to pass I lost power for a moment like a rev limiter kicked in. I came off the power and it went back to normal straight away. This has happened twice this week, both times exactly the same. It kicks in about +7 psi boost. I know safety boost cuts in at +7 but mine dont do it all the time. Haven't noticed anything else wrong. Car is a 1991 UK TT manual.

Any help would be awesome.

Many thanks, Rob

Bit of an update,

The car now goes into safety boost all the time. Dont notice it if I'm driving normally but everytime I put my foot down the rev-limiter kicks in.

Any advice on where to go from here would be appreiciated.

Cheers, Rob
