Suddenly my car has started to make 6 pings (like I had left the lights on) whenever I turn on the ignition.

I assume it is trying to tel me something but cannot find out what. Any ideas ?

I have checked and there are no lights on and the only thing I did on the car this weekend was to replace the interia light bulb.

Do you mean Chiming ?. Pinging is when the pining is out.

I know 4 chimes means the lights are on.

I think 6 means the door is open, thinking about it it gets it information from the source of the interior light.

Try removing the bulb and see if you still get the chimes.

It is like a chime, the same noise as if I had left the lights on when I get out of the car.

Took the interia bulb out ut still happens.

Any ideas ?
