I'm with you mate mine has come out to go to the tyre shop and back! Its minging out near me so it can stay nice an clean in the garage till its dry!

I don't use mine a great deal at the moment, but i ALWAYS give it at the very least a run around the block once a week! It really aint good to just leave it - cars like to be used!

However congrats on the successful start up and what not :)

Would liked to have used it but taxing 2 cars an 3 motorbikes

plus insurance gets damn expensive.

Thats just what you dont need!!!

A drive around the block once a week isn't doing it any favours tbh anyway. All it will do is cause condensation buildup in the oil as well as bore wash from running with cold start enrichment all the time.

I used to run the engine regularly thinking it was a good thing. That is until my mechanic showed me the results of it. When the oil was drained it had a watery consistency and a strong smell of petrol.

I wouldn't want to leave a car sitting outside though either, it will become a hotbed for corrosion causing the body to rot and the brakes to bind.

Anyway, good to hear it's being put back on the road :)

mines not coming out till probably march, she starts first time no matter how long its left.:hyper:

Tbh I normally wouldn't leave it outside but the workshop I keep it in is a bit full with 6 motorcycles, a trailer, couple of canoes and the kids quad and other junk gonna have to have a clearout in the spring.

500 miles a week in mine, just getting flipping dirty all the time

You wanna get yourself a nice battleship grey one - you can't tell when its clean or dirty
