OK OK OK I know, this forum should be about cars (yes you're quite right it should) but 2 things I just heard on the telly news just made me flip (probably "Angry of Tunbridge Wells" puce over "Fence sitting wimp LibDem" orange).

 

1) The chairman of the Tory party complaining that the electorate (that's us, folks) think they are the nasty party - which is "unfair". Ahhh dear little diddums - you caused the biggest wave of unemployment this country has ever seen, said "there is no such thing as society", sold off the family silver, ruined our education, health and railways and you think that being called "nasty" is unfair? Well, sit on this and spin...

 

2) Ian Duncan Smith just said that under his leadership, the Tories want to finish what Thatcher started. Oh Jesus f*ck.

 

Will the last person to leave the country please turn off the lights?

 

And a car link - the government which brought in the emission standards which killed off the official import of 300ZXs was?

Well said. You also forgot to say that they wanted, and got, a war (Falklands), with little thought for the poor soldiers risking life and limb.
