just watched predator 2 (i know its not as good as the first), but near the end when danny glover stumbles upon the space ship of the preadtor and sees his skull shrine, there is a skull of the alien out of the film alien on the shrine, this film was made in 1990, not sure if its the same film producers as alien, just seems strange that now we have alien vs predator films

just thought i would let ya know

Yeah as above... the films were tied in from the start.. the Preditors have their right of passage... as in the first AVP film....

I'm no comic book geek (I swear!) but that's where the predator/alien link began - Sometime after Predator was released in 1987, the comic bookers decided that a bit of predator v alien would be interesting - hence the appearance of the alien skull at the end of p2 - it was a nod to this, and no doubt an attempt to start the ball moving for some alien v predator action on celluloid!

Both the Aliens and predators were drawn by HR Gieger (spelling?) and have always been linked.

what ever came out of the dead predator on the ship in the end?

What you need to remember is the time line....

there is only a couple of hours between AVP and AVP2 and that means there is a frozen queen in the water at the site of the final sceen in AVP....and you still have the chick from the first one... she's still kicking about.. could she be a host for an Alien???

next the Alien films are set about 300 years in the future.... so we have the Queen and then 300's worth of time line to play with....

And the there was something dodgy about the chick at the end of AVP2 witht eh line... "it's not for this world.." hmmmmmmm

so there is still scope....

Anyway.......

Glad your all cought up now...

Cheerz
