Today I am supposed to be changing my tension rod bush's...

Drivers side one is out and I have replaced the bush but for the life of me I cannot get the bolt back through the cross memeber and bush.

The bolt is tapered so it only goes in one way (took me half an hour to realise :slap: ) but there is a pipe going from what looks like an air cooler to the air intake in the way. Whatever I try I cannot get it to move enough.

Is there an easy way to get this bolt in or have I now got to dismantle half of the car to get it in ?

IIRC you can easily remove the bracket it fits onto and then fit the tension rod to that, then fit the braket back

ROFL, when my mate did mine we used some brute force and teased it back in ;)

Its an intercooler pipe i think.

I saw those but don't have access to a proper press, so went for the 3 part ones.
