I have a jap TT auto which i am converting to manual, I had a slight incident with the car loom and had to get a new one. I bought a manual version loom off a member as between us we thought it would be easier for wiring up the conversion as I have the manual box loom as well. I have started fo fit it but some of the plugs going into the fuse box in the drivers footwell are different. The wires that have no pins- are these redundant on a manual car, I am thinking that some of the auto box wiring went into the fuse box so aren't used any more?

Complicated I know but can anyone confirm??

It is so much easier to use the Auto alternator loom, with just a few minor changes

(takes 2 minutes) I would stop and go back to that if I was you, if you don`t have one let me know will send you one already modded and marked up for you.

Thanks for the reply, problem is I am over half way through, the loom coming out is damged and can't be reused. The main difference was one plug in the fuse box whic was an 8/10 pin white one which is replaced with a 2 pin? I don't mind changing the loom as it is a good time to re-route it to suit the conversion as the standard place is not ideal. I am also removing other redundant bits when the wings are off that otherwise would of stayed there.
