had the same problem with a nissan cabstar and a peugeot boxer allan

It's unlikely (but not impossible) for the fault to lie with the ECU, I work in a Mercedes/Jeep/Subaru Parts Department and can't remember us being asked for a Vito ECU in the past three and a half years.

ive just been told that the ec light comes on now and then and that the merc garage done a diagnostic and it came up with an ecu unit fault????

ย

wish they would tell me this before i posted about the problem lol, will tell him to change the filter though bri, cheers mate

Ive had this with leaking boost pipes on a kangoo (although that ****er wouldnt go above 50!) however, i think the actual fault was with the actuator i believe which was allowing the turbo to provide too higher boost which was blowing the pipes of.

Could be that??
