Might be some Red Dwarf fans on here. I don't find it half as funny as I used to when I was a kid, but it's still pretty amusing.

Sh1t! I had'nt watched any of the new stuff until i was just flipping thru and caught the end of back to earth part 2 - i've gotta say as a big fan of RD from the little i've seen i'm severly disappointed :cry: :cry: :cry:

i havent watched it yet i will watch them all together but doesnt sound good from what you guys are saying. but in all honesty when something you have loved is remade/rereleased when has it not been dissapointing

im around a day behind on these as i'm downloading em , but mmhhh wasnt tremendously fussed on the first part so not holding out anything major for 2 & 3:(

Althought the smeg ups shown after part2 made me chuckle. :D

The episodes they show straight after are the best bit! lol

I would say watch the episodes back to back without the commercial breaks, it just seems so slow, nothing happens.

There is lots of pauses of silence.....I think they have lost the canned laughter that the old stuff used which I think it actually needed.

I thank that's the issue, i don't know where i'm supposed to laugh half the time with the specials. If it was funny i probably wouldn't need that but it's just not the same.

I've gotta agree, some dry humour really works - like the office! But RD really does need the laughter track back! It is a serious flaw/problem IMO!

Well i'm not saying it made up for the rest but the 3rd was the best of the 3.

 

It wasn't great but i actually laughed at this one, still wish they'd had a laughter track but at least it picked up at the end.
