I have never heard of the make of it. The spec is good, but make sure you shop around.

Try www.scan.co.uk and www.dabs.com to compare.

It sounds a little cheap is that price inc VAT?

I have never heard of it either. The thing to remember with portables are they are not easy or cheap to repair. I always buy good name brand portables (makes it easy to get parts etc) with a good 2-3 warranty. Toshiba have always been my preference, i recently bought one for a chap i do consultancy for - it was quite good. Got it from dabs.com i think...

I girlfriend got a Sony VIAO from Scan. Really good.

What I did notice from that pic though, is that the screeen didnt look that big and it looks a little chunkier, but really that is what you pay for. You pay the little extra to make it smaller, lighter and stylish.

Get a known brand make IMO.

 

I had a cheap jobby from Tesco a few years ago and it was sh1te basically.

 

After having a PC off them two I decided to fcuk that off aswell...that was sh1te also.

 

Went to Ruby Murrays(Currys) and bought a Compaq.

 

'tis good but then all PC's are W4NK and I cannot wait to be able to afford an iMac with wide inch screen. Pukka! LMFAO

Laptops....Bah humbug!

Had mine 25 months & the graghics chip went on a bender.

unrepairable!

£1600 down the pan! Ive been on an old '286' untill this week all works again.

If you buy a l/top please go for the extended warrenty!!!
