NZR Is my monitor going up the spout!!!!!!!

Hi,

My monitor is behaving strangely, it keeps on changing the outer borders for a couple of seconds and then restoring them, also the screen has shivering lines going through it for a couple of secs and then it is ok!

My TV did the same sort of thing before the tube went West?

All the Best

Mark

More than likely the monitor but you cannot rule out the graphics card as this sends the signals... Best to borrow another monitor and try it with your graphics card or vica versa - take you graphics card to a mate to test it.

If it is the monitor they are pretty cheap new or you can pick up recon dell/hp large monitors 19-21 inch for 100 - 200 pounds..

Thanks for the replies,

I think it is the monitor, I am unsure about whether to ditch the whole system, its an old celeron 400, and get a new lot, or just ditch the monitor.

Has anyone got any cheap putas on the go!

I think I will hang onto this monitor till its Kiboshed
