Went to the cinema last night was a toss up between this and my bloody Valentine.....

When we got the cinema and The spirit was starting and there was a 40 min wait for the other film....

Should have waited........

what a waist of 2 hours of my life..........

utter crap,

I thought from the director of 300 and Sin city it would be good, i didnt much like sin city it was ok, but not fantastic... this was crap... if you loved sin city you might like this.... only redeeming feature was Eva Mendess

Cheerz

I went to see my bloody Valentine 3-d it was awesome. Story was ok but the effects where great. Would recommend it to everyone.

Hated Sin City, so when I saw the trailer for The Spirit on TV, I knew it wasn't for me.

Probably the most disappointing movie of 2009 in advance of every other movie released this year :(

I adored Sin City (can't wait for the second), 300 was alright so I really really hoped this was going to be a great film. The style was awesome as always but the story just wasn't there. The actors struggled to make anything of the script and I actually felt embarressed to be sitting there the entire length of the movie.

My opinion is Frank Miller should stick to the production of the movie and concentrate more on the script than trying to direct again. He wrote robocop and that was good and sin city how could he go wrong with this one?

Very disappointed :(
