Exhaust and dump valves

Went to see a mate of mine who works at Graham Goode in Leicester to see what exhausts he could source, told him i fancied the Blitz one but wasnt impressed that its not fully stainless, he showed me a HKS super dragger but i told him i didnt like the exhaust comming out of just one side, so he looks into it and they do a super dragger with a box on either side, and it looks sweet so thats what im having.

Then i notice dump valves on his screen, which i quite fancy too while im at it but i dont know the crack with these, do i have to get hard pipes first or will the HKS ones come with pipes as i will want them mounting mac1 style.

Any ideas?

No the HKS ones don't come with the hardpipes, they fit down by the recircs frown.gif

I think Smithy could make you some nice SS ones up.

Ought to of guessed youd be up at this time of night Ian!

I am right in thinking that you can mount dump valves anywhere on the turbo type pipes and the recircs are blanked off and somehow not used or bypassed or something?

Fraid super Dragger Dual is NOT available for the Zed, it is listed in all HKS paperwork, but it is a mistake, had this out with other suppliers and HKS, it is the Hyper that is the dual outlet one, ring HKS direct or Johnny at GPS for confirmation.

Graham Goode are local to me too but I can't seem to get good prices from them and they don't know squat about the 300zx. Keep getting "oh they are just like the SupraTT" so I use people off here and save money.

Johnny and Latzio at Grasshopper are the only people to talk to IMO.

I know that maybe the case John but there is a valid reason for that!

They are busy on a project to make GPS even better for the future so I would say cut them a little slack. wink.gif

LMAO people have been cutting them slack for 2 years now on there ability to answer a phone.

At the end of the day there really is no excuse, if you cant answer a phone in three rings, then you need more staff lol.
