i had this trouble in the end i had enough i brought bigger wheels and lifted the susppension on the front that has helped loads still have a bit of trouble but its much easier to live with i could go higher but wanted to keep the low look

if ya can get a finger between the arch and the top of the tyre then its not low enough lol

hmm maybe ile leave it as it is till Z009 and see what ppl think then is great as it is just cant put car on drive rofl

I am not sure bigger wheels will make any difference, its the suspension that lowers the car?

I think you are right.

depends if the rolling radius changes.

Do you reckon you could change it enough on a zed to make the kinda difference he needs? I mean without it scraping the arches and what not?

If you went up an inch in wheel size, and kept the same profile tyre, then you'd raise the car by half an inch. However, I think people usually go for a lower tyre profile when upping the wheel diameter, so in actual fact it would be less than half an inch.

is it the arches that are scraping or the car scraping the ground? I assumed it was the car scraping the ground, in which case whether it would lift it enough depends entirely on how much it's currently not clearing the bumps by.

Ive got the same problem with my zed my front bumper is really low, its got some splits in it from a fight with a speed bump:mad: so i avoid roads with them in if i can. Im running on 17 in wheels with 45 profile on the front& 40 on the rear

well whatever u do dont just raise the rear or the front bumper will have even less clearance lol.

What suspension is fitted? like i said if you have coilovers (being as low as it looks you may well have) raise it a cm or two and have it tracked simple, theres no other better solution, how far are the tyres from the top of the arch?

Oi i've got an FTO - its a belter :D

If you look at an FTO next to a zed (which i can :D ) you will see there is a mahoosive difference! The FTO looks like a freakin 4x4 compared to a zed

Oooooo a red one - very nice :D  Don't see many red uns, i've had 2 and they have both been that silver/grey colour, lol.

it looks like its on stock suspension to me its how low the bumper is thats your problem.mines on standard rims and suspension and it looks the same i seem to catch the standard bumper on everything round here.if i had your one on mine it would of broke by now:rofl::rofl:

The majority of your clearance problems are because of the low aftermarket front bumper, rather than suspension height.
