Hi,

I had Orange call me tonight offering free broadband and phone calls but the monthly usage is 10GB. Is there anyway I can find out what I'm using a month at the moment? Is there any program that I can use which will keep a tally of my usage?

Cheers

Vijay

there are a few problems out there which will track how much you use.

My firewall tracks how much i send etc, firewall name is ashampoo firewall pro, there are other problems out there that will keep a track of it for you

I use "Broadband usage meter 2.0" by Rackeys

I tend to use 2-3 GB a month btw, if I dont download any Movies. But I am online a fair amount, general surfing and some gaming.

If I do download a Movie Torrent then a full movie is around 600mb (0.7GB)

10 GB is nothing. That's only about 3 films(DVD quality) or one x box 360 game.Depends what you download.

i use NetMeter to track my usage, although i have unlimited usage.

depends what you use the net for mate. downloading a bit of music, playing BF2 a fair bit, this that and the other, i'd rack up 5gb, but that's no movies or iPlayer or anything like that
