Thought it best to post this up in the NW section as i don't really wanna travel forever to get to a place, lol.

 

In the not to distant future i would like to get my car on the rollers and see what power its producing. So anyone know where i could have this done. I don't have a problem with travelling, but within the NW would be best :)

 

Also anybody any ideas how much of my hard earned i'll be paying, lol.

 

Also i take it i won't have any problems with it being an Auto will i??? I've never ever had this done before.

 

Any help is greatly appreciated.

This is the North West Rolling Road Day.

 

The following people have agreed to come along and get on the rollers -

The cost of this is £50 each as there are less than 10 people. IF 10 or more people turn up then the price will drop to £45 per car. It is pay on the day - so bring ya wonga :D

The plans are as follows -

 

Everyone needs to be at the Dyno place at 8am on Saturday 28th Feb.

 

Once everyone has arrived we will then make our way to where we will have breakfast, we will try and get there for 8.30am.

 

After we have all had a belly full of grub and a natter, we will then head back to the Dyno place where we will then get our cars on the rollers and rip the piss out of each others power readings :rofl:

It went excellent Paul - sorry you missed it!

 

Everybody left the place under their own steam, no recovery needed as far as i know lol :D

Cheers mate, better vid than i got.lol. They should make a silent rolling road, then all you can hear is engine noise. Good pics aswell. Top day all round it really was. Mr JD recons theres some decent gains to be had from a remap and upping the boost aswell. Why did he have to tell me that.lol. I was going to leave it alone.

Gonna cover the Z up and keep it off the rd for a bit and start saving as much as i can in anticipation to get some other things done 2!

If your box is fvcked Chris, then i would imagine a new box would be the cheapest. Prolly about £250 for an autobox and then whatever labour is.Not too bad i suppose.

It also brought up a couple of problems. My EBC has been set up incorrectly by the fitter, and i am running stupidly rich, which explains my awful fuel economy. I'm working on these things tho, even if i dont have any money lol. I've got the wonga together for the fuel to get it to Zedworld this weekend, where Jeff is gonna do the free conzult etc and we'll see where i stand. Hopefully easily fixed problems :o

yep i was thinking about that price for a box but had so many varied opinions on it some saying recon the one u got rarther that by another second hand one ? but thinking of what else i want done long term i might save for a manual conversion and some other things 2 !

It'll be later rather than sooner tho! Realistically the cheapest you can do it is £1500, maybe a bit cheaper by sourcing your own parts etc... BUT you may get probs that way with missing parts etc and it could quite easily cost you more. Then maybe a bit more like just get Jeff to do it for £1650 all in - drive it in and drive it back out again - fully warranted and what not. Personally i am aiming to just get Jeff to do it and have done with it.

It never really ends - manwell conversion 1650, RLTC about 700, performance upgrades - who knows LOL. Respray and what not - i'll do that, but its finding the time to do it, wanna do a relly good job.
