Can anyone that has a hub lying around take some measurements for me please.

Im about to make up some relocation brakets to use 324mm skyline GTR discs, but my car is not near right now, so could someone let me know the distance between hole centres, and the thickness of the mounting lugs ?

Id also happily make some up for others, if you send me a bit of Ally and a SAE :D

But you still come back and ask for more so this place can't be that bad!

First one, you asked for sizes and you got exactly what you wanted but they way you look at it was YOU were the helpfull one!

Second, you bought from someone who was a Subscribed user, so thanks to this place and a forum allowing people to buy/sell their parts, you got sorted.

Third, Im really happy you were pleased at the level of service you got.

Fourth, people gave you places to call based on their experiences - what crap people, surely they should have rang up all the places and got the latest prices for you!

cos it's 11.40 at night and people have beds to go to and don't think they'd be going out to their garages or gardens to measure anything for anyone.

This really is nothing personal, I'll be posting the same to any registered users who have a nice post count ;) I just find it hard to believe that registered people don't see the benefit of a place like this but happily post 100's of times. Maybe next time you're stuck for advice and in a pickle you might think.

Night anyone who's still awake (Ruishy1 too) :)

Vijay

I didnt say i was the helpful one, i said i helped out, are you trying to say you wouldnt like to know where to get things cheaper ? especially in the current economic climate ?

As for allowing people to buy and sell, if it didnt happen here id imagine they would find elsewhere.

Im not taking this personal, im simply trying to get my point across, and i didnt expect anyone to go out to their garage and do anything for me tonight, i posted it up because i was online and i remebered about it. if someone didt reply it weas no great loss, as said i can do it myself, but not till net week i was trying to save a little time.

And i offered to make brackets for people for nothing, thus saving people money and helping out, and im not subscribed, so being subscribed meansa nothing other than helping to pay for the running of the site.

And i wouldnt mind helping out, but right now my last contract ended just before xmas, and my next one isnt for another month, so that 20 quid is better kept for other things IMO.

As its been said, posts dont convey emotions or anytihg else, so i apologise if my posts seemed stroppy etc, that was not my intention :nono:

Well, each to their own I suppose.

Personally, I feel very bad that I haven't gotten round to subscribing yet, initially due to lack of funds and just being too bloody lazy. But I tell you what, I certainly will do. I have never been a member of a community where everyone is so helpful, friendly and willing to give advice and do favours for one another - I often comment on it to my mates. I always bear in mind that no one has to give any info or assistance at all - it's not as if it's a service from some company that we're paying for here.

If the 20 quid did nothing more than keep this site from having to close down, it would be worth every penny. I know that I would be screwed without it with the amount of things that go wrong with these cars, along with many others I'm sure. I've certainly been helped a lot and all without giving anything except help to others when my limited knowledge allowed! It would be very easy to set up the site so that you had to pay before you could even ask a question...

In addition, I'm in IT and I know how much work goes into building and maintaining a site like this. All this is done by people giving up their time and effort for free.

So anyway, that's what I reckon. Now I'm gonna get down off my soap box and go find my cheque book ;)

Excellent post there fella!

Really nice to know the forum and club in general is appreciated by some.

Would be great if all had the same feelings as yourself.

Thanks!

Splitfyr3, really glad you think like that and you're totally right, now get subscribed!! lol It's totally the right way to think and you're certainly not the only one who would be pretty stuck without the help advice from the members. I've owned my Z for about 12 years and althought I've learnt a hell of a lot, I still rely on this place for advice. And again you're right, it's all about give and take in a community and that's what I believe this place is :)

ive done a search but not sure what your getting at mate, can you be a bit more specific please ?

thanks

i would have posted this very useful site here, but ,reading replies from you and subscribed members, i think i will not. i do not agree with "heated" posts.

this is my view.

if a moderator wants me to post this site on a subscribed forum, please let me know.
