Can anyone that has a hub lying around take some measurements for me please.

Im about to make up some relocation brakets to use 324mm skyline GTR discs, but my car is not near right now, so could someone let me know the distance between hole centres, and the thickness of the mounting lugs ?

Id also happily make some up for others, if you send me a bit of Ally and a SAE :D

Why pay someone to make something that you can make yourself, out of far superior materials :smash: ( aircraft grade super dural )

Im used to hand fabrication, im an aerostructural engineer :duffer:

Cos by the time you've worked out your measurements, design and thickness to allow for the GTR disc Offset, you could have just bought em and fitted em!

Certified and aerograde too ;)

Just a thought!

Hi,

Be nice to subscribe with that money, helps keep this place going ;)

Why ? everytime i ask for info, i get told "buy from one of these companies" and "subscribe", if i got some straight answers once in a while i would happily subscribe, but TBH right now i feel it would be a waste of 20 quid

al.

ive done a search but not sure what your getting at mate, can you be a bit more specific please ?

thanks

So out of 240 posts you've got no help? Why do you keep coming back then if this place ain't worth it?? Glad we're all paying out 20 quids for the pleasure of you coming back!

Virtually no striaght answers, ive asked questions and got some degree of help, but most of the time im told buy this or subscribe. and if your not happy about it, dont reply to any of my threads then

So you're happy to keep posting even though you're not happy with what you get. All good as long as you don't have to pay anything? So when someone tells you where to go get parts, that's not trying to help you and save you money???

I pay my subs so can post on any thread I like.

Telling me where to buy something, when im asking for dimensions is not helpful, if i need to purchase something im pretty sure i can do an internet search and find it.

And as i said, if i got some useful stuff, i would happily pay for a subscription, but untill then i dont see the point

With an attitude like that mate - I don't know if you will get any !

well done you for trying to be part of a Z community.

And when people like Smithy give their opinions on making stuff for a Z, I can assure you they know what they're talking about and are trying to give the best and most cost effective advice for an average Z owner.

So let me ask you, who do you expect to keep this place going and an up to date sight? Just makes me laugh that you feel you get nothing useful but still come back for advice.

Did you even read my first post ? i offered to make caliper brackets FOR FREE to anyone that wanted them, if thats not being helpful i dunno what is.

As for cost effective, making my own costs alot less than buying them from a company.

I come back to see if anything crops up that is useful, but so far ive found it lacking, it seems as though any info is kept close to people's chests.

there are a couple of goods points, but nothing remarkable.

I can't help but laugh at your attitude. I'm so glad there are so many of us that don't see this place as you do. Nothing remarkable? This place is the best 20 quid you'll ever spend when owning a Z and it's not only about Z ownership, members are only too happy to help each other out when/if they can!!!

The first one i was asking for sizes and got them, but it wasnt a selfish thing, i shared the results so anyone could benefit. Id say i helped a little.

The second the person that helped me out was the one that I was supposed to be buying the box from but there was complications so things got delayed, so id say that one was moot.

the third, yes i got some help on the bodystyling aspect, and i am grateful, its given my the rough look im going for.

and the last one was terrible ! i asked for taxi prices, whe i called the cheapest was 70 quid, and fair enough thats no ones fault, their info was just a little out, and the guy that offered a lift never got back to me.

If i find anything out that can benifit anyone on here, i will happily post the results, as the forum i have usually frequented, thats what ive alwsy done on there.

And if everyone is so happy to help, why is it im getting told to subscribe, we are on the second page of this thread, and only 1 person has given anything remotely useful.

My comment was only to try to lighten the mood bud as it seemed to be getting heated.

somethin got moderated, why???

I can't see any moderation  What exactly do you think has been modded???

But you still come back and ask for more so this place can't be that bad!

First one, you asked for sizes and you got exactly what you wanted but they way you look at it was YOU were the helpfull one!

Second, you bought from someone who was a Subscribed user, so thanks to this place and a forum allowing people to buy/sell their parts, you got sorted.

Third, Im really happy you were pleased at the level of service you got.

Fourth, people gave you places to call based on their experiences - what crap people, surely they should have rang up all the places and got the latest prices for you!

cos it's 11.40 at night and people have beds to go to and don't think they'd be going out to their garages or gardens to measure anything for anyone.

This really is nothing personal, I'll be posting the same to any registered users who have a nice post count ;) I just find it hard to believe that registered people don't see the benefit of a place like this but happily post 100's of times. Maybe next time you're stuck for advice and in a pickle you might think.

Night anyone who's still awake (Ruishy1 too) :)
