I have an ongoing problem in that when my car has been left standing for a period of 2days or longer, the rear screen is wet through! anyone else had this problem & got any solutions?

It might be the rear wiper blade rubber gromit leaking into the boot. CHeck for water marks on the trim and wet patches on the carpet.

If it's evaporating that'd be the source of your condensation.

check the grommet around the wiper, the window seal and also the grommet(s) under the spare wheel usually a bit of water sitting.

The rear wiper grommet comes loose, usually at the front towards the rear screen. When opening your boot after a period of rain you may get some water dripping from inside the rear pannels of the hatch itself.

The moisture will not start to appear until the interior warm up, i.e. you get in and stat driving.

I've had this problem for a while but on sunday I used some of Captins leak seal from Yassa so I'll let you know if this had done the job.

I have this problem myself, so after reading this above, I went and checked the grommet. It is loose exactly in the position that you said, front towards the windscreen.

Yep, one of the common problems. The grommet shrinks so slightly in the winter and moves around when you turn the wiper on. Due to the tilt in the wiper arm the pressure is put on the back of the grommet and causes the front to lift. A new grommet is very cheap but then to fit it you need to take the rear arm off which means stripping off the rear panels.
