Engine loom

Hi all,

Im having trouble fitting the new engine loom now :mac1:

Ive disconnected the ECU and the other plug that connects to the other part of the loom.

But im having trouble pulling it though the bulk head! Is the loom connected anywhere else?

I hope i havent caused more damage pulling it.

Whats the best way of getting it out?

Cheers

It is trapped by a bracket/plate behind the air con fan/ evaporator, most guys remove it all but it means regassing after and the assembly is a ball-ache to remove anyway. undo as much of the assembly without undoing the actual aircon pipes.

With a bit awriggle and shake it is do-able to get the plate undone.

Good luck

Ditto ^^^^ the bracket has a 10mm nut holding it and you need hands like a baby to get to it but i cut mine off to save pulling it through.
