Before I can get my car MOT'd Id better get the lights working and I cant.

I fitted some ROXIE Heart HID's a few years ago and one has failed - now trying to work out if was bulb, wiring or transformer - the other one has failed :(

Just for the MOT i was gonna fit some std bulbs in and start from fresh - I have 2 H4 55/60W (3 prong) bulbs - Are these the right ones to refit? - Its just the original wiring has 2 spade connectors.

When you put sidelights on my lower sidelights come on.

When you switch to dipped the HID's should come on (Round side bulbs)?

(even though at the moment the dipped main beam light intermittently comes on).

When you switch to main it cuts the side lights and the main beam comes on.

does this sound like bad earth or will it all work when I refit new dipped lights.

does any of this make sense?

Ive decided to slash my hand open on glass and superglued it back together and this is proving a problem trying to manoevre your hands to get in and sort it all out.

cheers - coz its dark at the mo does the main beam have a single element too? - Its been so long and I cant quiet remember whats what - if it is that will be a 2 prong too I guess.

If it does that doesnt explain how it comes on low with the dipped beam but switches to high..........
