hi

just wondering if you can help me i just brought a 300zx tt auto and when i start it it seems like is missfiring when i go to put into gear it seems to go in to a safe mode and it wont go over 2000rpm or 2500rpm cant remeber witch

any advise would be very very helpfull

Right sorry about hte wait,

Where the red arrow is there should be a small hose coming from the top of the standard dump valve and dissapearing into the body.

Where the other arrows are there should be two large hoses:

-One to the intake hose

-One dissapearing around the side of the radiator

 

Note: I have drawn the green line in the wrong place but you will see it when looking

 

There should be one Recirc (recirculating) valve either side of the electric fan in front of the air con radiator.

 

If they're still connected up just replace the pipe with the dump valve on.

If they're not then get back to me

in that case just get hold of some new hard pipes and buy another the same as you have now for the other side.

 

Then just follow a online guide to blanking off the originals and bobs your uncle.

 

But remember that they are renown for causing stalling issues

Just in case your getting confused, there are two different places to install dump valves

1. Where yours are now inside the engine bay

2. Where the originals are
