Just a quick one....

My heater for the windscreen works fine but every other vent never seems to work regardless of switch settings.. any ideas?

Same on mine, check to see if your have a thick vent pipe going across under the steering wheel, above the pedals.

Thats whats causing mine

so if its not there thats the problem?

try passenger side too mate :)

just checked both sides and they workin fine but no air from center vents.... unless im just being a mong an not pressing the right switch?

Sounds like another issue then, can you hear the fans kicking in when the engine is warm.?

For example, if its a cold day, and you turn on your climate control to auto, the fans wont work (or spin up) until the engine is warm, otherwise its just gonna freeze your arse off with cold air.

If you dont hear any fans at all its a fan proplem, if you do hear the fans spinning up, then its an airflow gate problem, maybe a cable snapped off and left a gate closed.

Dont envy you though, i leaving my till im desperate, its all hidden behind the dash, probably a full dash out for me.

Never use the air con as its useless because my ambient temp sensor is damaged or non- existant ( reads -86 ) can't hear fans though? anywhere i could take it for this as i can't be arsed ripping all the dash out.

God knows, i totally ripped all my air con system out, ripped = correct word! lol

Someone must have replaced the fans before, someone will come along and give more helpful advice than me bud.

if i stick mine on Auto set it to about 23-24 then i get warm air coming out the middle vents, There are lots of sensors for the air con and it will blow air according to those sensors, so if it thinks its warm in the cabin it won't blow air there.

Won't you be running very rich if the ecu thinks its -86?

It does run extremely rich.. I've had problems in the past with it flooding when i'm driving due to this. There is nothing i can do as far as i'm aware?

replace the sensor, its just a little plug in box mounted to the front bumper beam. Mine was doing this i just unpluged it and cleaned it works fine now.

Can you tell me exactly where it is on front bumber beam? I've got a stupid bodykit on so could have been ripped out completely?

if you stick your head under the front bumper towards the drivers side there is a black cylinder to do with aircon i think there are 2 connectors on this one is the ambient temp sensor

Cheers. I'll take a look tomorrow when its lighter.
