matt

I couldn't even finish watching it :(

Bridge scene was horrific!! Theres a time and a place to speed and have fun! if you know where it is you will be safe!!

The vid just puts the reality into perspective not the hollywood heroics of flipping cars 10times and sliding out the car no problem!!

Shocked that was before watershed if it was!

I've seen scenes like those before, both in video's and real life.

Where I work we have regular "Driver Safety and Awareness" days where we are subjected to numerous video's and images of road traffic accidents and then told how to avoid them. To be fair, a majority of it is common sense and in my opinion its not nessacerily the speed that kills, its the lack of concentration and observation.

I still have a hand out from the last safety day which has a selection of images from an accident over-sea's where one of the drivers involved was sending a text message whilst driving. Needless to say, the injuries were fatal, and the images are quite horrific. Certainly not suitable to be posted on here as they make that video look quite tame in comparison.

Perhaps the current driving test should be revised and a more intensive practical test should be introduced?. Maybe then there would be a reduction in accidents and lower insurance premiums.
