well been having a bit of a problem with my front wipers for a few days now but they have eventually given up on me. they were giving a bit of a clunking noise when the left the bottom of the windscreen now they have stopped working altogether. also they now move freely when i push them. thinking its just the wiper motor what do you think?

Pull the windscreen cowls off and check if the linkage is broken.

Ive got a good frnt wiper linkage for sale if you need one bud..

cheers will let you know, what will i be looking for or will it be straight forward to see

will be stright forward, youll see the mechanism, 1 long bar with short one ether end one end connects to wiper motor, you will probably find the bushes that hold it together are knakerd / worn out,,,,,,
