ah yeah just seen it im on about the det sensor ive ordered both so ill let everybody know what the results are and if the det sensor is same part no and if the plugs fit the injectors..i hope so as the price of the 300zx tt stuff is shocking...

it would acctually make it possible to change all the plugs and sensors reasonably cheap

i think th nissan maxima stuff is pretty close as i rekon the mountain of parts left over from zx whet into the maxima..3.0v6

possibly the pathfinder aswell i will do some research and get some solid info to help and im going to order some test stuff to see !!

The locating tab on the connector is in the middle of that connector, on the Z32 they are offset

what makes yopu think that

injector connector Datsun Nissan 280z 280zx Z31 300zx

always good to read before reaching for the keyboard:cool:

280Zx injectors DO NOT fit the Z32 injectors. I have tried.

So waste of money buying them

what about maxima or pathfinder then slick

Never owned one... so never tried;)

The Det sensor MAY work.... or it may fail to work.

The trouble is if it fails to work .... its too late to swap it;)

Let us know if it fails:D:D:D

just been looking at some larger injectors and the plugs are same as on ebay for 2$ with fitting in middle not offset ..

50 quid for 6 injector plugs !! more like 6 quid then the postage ..

Those plugs WILL fit a z32.Even though the lug is in the middle they will go on and are very snug.I used them before changing my engine loom.

theres a note at the bottom of the injector plug link that says they will fit z32 but have to be dremmeled to fit.

good spotting i never read the last line i tell you what i have a small endgraving tool that will be spot on for modding the connector i got it from the boot fair for 2 quid lol

its got to be work the small amount of work rather than paying stupid money for them .

and i rekon if you used a little heat sealant for good measure it would be a snug fit and water tight, im definatly ordering a canny few

Its only about £20 + shipping for a set of 6 Genuine Nissan 300zx Injector connectors and loom though.

The knock sensor is very cheap....but then the connection is all wrong and clearly not for a Z32

i will report back as i think everybody would be happy with a cheap fix even to renew just to rule out the connections for future fault finding ....this is what i do best so i will most def find a good solution to the dilemas of the z and its electrical nightmare//

the coil pack thing is most def best being put into one place away from heat .. in a coil manifold of some sort somebody meantioned something which sounded well worth the 150 quid .. the det sensor coil pack and injectors need addressed with good cheap sturdy solutions for all those who have streched there budget just to get a z .. i rekon there are many whom cant really affords all the plugs at 14 quid a pop with p&p i mean thats about 180 quid just for the 12 connectors for injectors and coils ridicoulous ....then the det sensor aswell the list goes on ..... so a few dollars and some tinkering would be perfect for the budget zedder...

legrath where are the injector connectors for 20 quid for 6 i want some !!

any of the U.S Parts vendors - czp, Z1, courtesyparts ..etc

and coilpack connectors with loom's for splicing are about £30 for 6.

You can buy the connectors separately, I have several here, without any loom for hardwiring and crimp in the wires yourself which is quite a bit cheaper.

The problem with the Stock EFI loom is that a lot of problems are'nt in the connectors themselves but in the main loom wiring itself, with the wiring having gone brittle over time.
