I'm pulling the engine in the new year. I've started stripping a few bits in the garage before it goes to the workshop. what I was thinking was can I remove the plenum before the engine gets pulled or will this need to be in place and remove it after?
If I can remove the plenum before hand, I have read that you need to remove the fuel lines etc. But to do this you need to purge the fuel system. Problem being that I have taken all the intercooler pipes out, air filter is off, broken connector on the TPS etc. Basically its not running.
What I need to know is there another way of removing the fuel lines etc without having to start the engine to purge the system?
