I agree Harve. AA and some of the other insurance companies make out they will not be beaten on price for cover but what they are saying is if you are 65 and drive a Mondeo LX.

I've taken them up on that offer over my driving years and it's bollox bud. False advertising just to get you to call for a quote.

What happened to - "Just AAsk"

Going back through all the ins' posts i can see that the 'GTO club' insurers are based in

Houton - about 5 miles from me.

Is it worth me making the effort & making the effort to visit them personally to see what they can do for us all (ok personal paperwork & sercumstances apply) But when we are a club, Which we bloody well should be!We might pay beer money instead of high street rip off rate.

I have a few days booked dossing on the car next week & would be willing to make the effort to do the foot work. But they may ask a membership No. Any ideas or 'Craig/Nico' how can i/we get round this for now?
