Hi I have been looking for a service and repair manual for some time now (hard copy) and have found a 1996 edition version with an al black front with white lettering on the net. Will this be ok for a 1990Z I have seen another version dated 1994 for a similar price too and just wondered what woul dbe the best one to go for? any idea?

If anyone knows of a manual for sale let me know too I have already posted in the wanted section but no luck so far. Next month there will probabaly be 2 for sale lol.

Go for the one closest to the year of your car.

There are some very small differences between the models but nothing that will stop you doing any work on it.

Hi TopChilla,

There were a few differences made to the car around the 1995 area (the only ones i've noticed are wiring, but there's bound to be more). I was under the impression that there was a main service manual for the 89-94 cars and then a sort of add on manual for the 95+ that only had the changes in it.

Dave

in the latter manual (95 or 96 onwards) they included details on the convertible zed, so one of the main differences is the diagrams all have extra labels sayinh "not vert" and "vert only" and there are extra pages dealing with vert things.

also different is the hicas details

and i think the early manual didnt mention manual air con control where the latter one does
