What are the best car seats you ever sat in? I am thinking of changing mine for some comfortable light weight sports seats.

 

I remember the recaro seats from a sierra cosworth were amazingly comfortable and really hugged you in place - quite light weight too....

I had a Citroen BX once and the seats were very, very plush and comfortable. Shame the rest of the car was crap though.

My previous Daily driver was a 406, and the wife drives an Xantia which uses the same seats - and I'd rate them as very average!

 

Not entirely sure why everyone is posting up suggestions for seats from regular/luxury cars though, when Steve's after Lightweight reclining sports seats LOL

Gotta disagree there! my pug 406 seats were the worst part of the car, hardly any back support, I fitted a set from a later model which were a bit better but still not great.

Nice.... except for the fact they wont fit in my zed... oh and they won't be very supportive when hard cornering in the zed..... oh and the fact they weigh as much as a small house - they might slow me down... oh, and the fact they wont tilt forward for access to the back seats....

 

oh... and the fact most of these points were covered in the above posts...

 

but apart from that - they would be really comfy!:tongue::rofl::rofl::slap::D

 

 

Lol, i was just answering ur question in ur first post about most comfiest seats av sat in, although you could have the seats from an SL, they are the same, except with more lumber support, and tilt forward for rear access...no massage tho :(

Mate's cilo willaims, the stock seats in that are very nice i think

maybe I haven't sat in many comfortable seats, but I think the ones in my Zed are the best I've sat in.

 

I also rate the stock 300zx (leather of course) seats highly - I just wish mine were heated:p
