if i floor my car in first (possibly hitting the limiter) the engine seems to flood, it misses and basically takes a while to get back to normal, im asuming its floding somehow, or could it possibly be a coilpack breaking down under load, only seems to do it when i floor it in first then go into second gear

any ideas

I had similar problem on mine as soon as you went up into the higher revs or increased the boost the car would start misfiring. New coild packs seem to have cured it.

Have you checked your loom? have you got some slack on all your connectors? Could be pulling when the engines twisting?? Just a thought? Ive got a three old coilpacks in the garage. You can have them for the postage if you want mate.

Does it do it when it's fully warmed up?

I have colder plugs in mine and it's quite easy to wet a plug by hitting the limiter if it's not 100% warmed up.
