Can anyone please tell me if a U.K. Zed has a oil warning light, whereas my Jap hasn't ? I ask because my local parts shop is getting me a sender for £5.99 and the cheapest I have found on the net is about £45. The part was listed for a 300zx from 90-96 as an oil switch, with no other oil sender listed at all. I need a sender but fear that this is not the right part. Any help please ? :headvswal

Hi Mate,

No what they are getting you is just a warning light switch and you need the proper sender. I have come across this before where they list a switch for the ZED and not a sender but its wrong.

Thanks Jase, just as I thought. Any idea where I can get a sender without having to re-mortgage to afford it mate ?

Have you tried MJP/Mr.F (in the traders section) - The clubs Nissan parts supplier.

Its not going to be a cheap part though, its a hefty item.

Mate, Last time I bought one it was £70 and I got that from Nissan.

the £45 on Ebay sounds cheap to me but give the traders section ago.
