Hi all, just insured my zed tt and upon taking it out for a test drive. the car stalls when breaking and at low speeds. also smokes a little on idle possibly a pcv valve fault?

what do i check?

Featured Replies

Stalling and wee bit of smoke are the usual sysmtoms caused by an air leak.

Look all over the engine bay for any split pipes and missing or loose clips and under the headlight panel where the re-circs are.

If you can get yer hands on a boost leak tester, great, other than that sometimes soapy water on the hoses works.

Cheers

Right guys i think i found the problem. i located a vaccuum line going into a small rectangle box what looks like a map sensor or some sort on driver side which was split really badly so replaced that and also cleaned up the pcv valves which were not dirty in the first place.

Any other things to check before i take it for a run and get stranded some where lol?

is your car running alrite now y4n? after you fixed that hose?

Hey mate check your IACV is working properly it can cause the car to stall when coming to a halt
