Thanks guys, needs a bit of work over the winter but is quite a tidy clean motor. just need to get the vibration sorted - came with a 3 month warranty -which i intend to fully use!!!

Welcome.

Just a word of warning. The add says it' a twin turbo. However you have an NA front bumper fitted to it which means your intercoolers will not be getting any air.

You'll need to either fit a TT front bumper or an after market one or you will start suffering as the weather gets warmer.

Hi, thanks, i did notice this before i went to see it - gives me an excuse to buy a new front end!

Intercoolers are blocked of from any air as the ducts are still fitted - makes me think that the last owner was more bothered about the looks than performance.

Hello and welcome :D

welcome to the club and nice zed you say there is vibration at 60mph photo shows some damage to near side front wheel arch which has been repaired so could be suspension damage or damaged alloy at that side.

the vibration starts at about 40mph and is notible past 60, NSF wheel is not damaged and the vibration does not come through the steering wheel. Feels middle to back end is the souce. Think the gearbox mount is gone as well as there is vibration in low revs depending on how you drive. Also, HICAS light randomly comes on when the engine is warm. if you turn the engine off and then back on, it stays off - for a bit!

Sounds like vibration could be associated with the prop centre bearing and/or gearbox mount.
