Just ran an update on my TomTom to instal the latest map. Now when I turn it on, all I get is 'no maps found'.

Anyone any ideas?

Cheers

Did you use TomTom Home ? I did that a few weeks ago, it tried to download a new map, said it didn't have space and needed to delete the old one first. The new download didn't work properly and then there was no map ! Fortunately, I had the foresight to take a backup first ...

Nope, these was space actually and yeah, I did use TomTom home.

And do you have a backup ?

If you have bought a map from TomTom it stays on their website in your account for a year, so you can download it again.

Erm.....I'll have a check. Foolishly, I didn't make a backup. Wasn't sure how to and didn't think to.

i once bought the speedcamera's for my tomtom from ebay for £2, and they came with a million POI's and nearly filled the tomtom up,

Just a bit of useless info for ya

Fixed now! Kept installing, disconnecting, re-installing and it's worked. Just a case of getting Dominos and Subway POIs on there now! LOL
