Z lights........ helps if they are pointing forward

We all know that the Z lights are pointless. My experience found it nearly impossible to drive down a road with no lights with just the head lights. I am not joking. There was just a slight fuz on the ground of my head lights.

Changed my bulbs from normal ones to Xenon ones becuase one of my blubs where blown and they only had cheap bog standard ones, and Halfords had the wrong lights listed in thier little book, but thats another story.

Anyway. Night came and I tried these new lights which where meant to be 30% brighter, I could see a great difference.......... on one side. The passenger side was really bright and I could seen where the focus of the was on the road. The drivers side was the same as before. So I get my 8mm wrench spanner out and turn the focus on the drivers side light. After about 10 turns the ligh started to get brighter and there was a deffinte bright spot on the light. Anyway I keep turning until the bright focus point is the same as the passenger side.

I must have knocked the passenger side when I put the bulb in and the drivers needed adjusting. So for over a year the lights have litteraly been shining straight down so the light didnt actually reach the road.

I thought this is one of the things tested on the MOT? Anyway. driving now I can actually see the lights on the road. WOW! I can drive and not guess.

So if any of you guys and gals (Now Ajay is back and there is a new lady joining us) if you think your lights are terrible, try adjusting them.

Stuart
