Well just got home from USA again, had a few issues going over there, flew from bristol to Amsterdam then onto Portland OR, USA. Got to the USA with only my carry on luggage as my suitcase so say didn't make the transfer, so they dropped it off next morning at 2am outside the place i was staying, so i was happy. Opened up my suitcase to find my computer which was extremely protected completely bent and f'd up... went on there website and they refused to accept liability as my suitcase was 1KG over weight. So that kinda ruined some of it. So i just rebuilt it and it was fine flying home.

Went jet skiing on this beast.... 225 BHP supercharged, 0 - 60 in 2.5 seconds was extremely scary! Driving it was so much fun though. Thanks giving was alot of fun as well, some of the nights i cant remember.. i was kinda drunk  that sums up most of it!

But the big news is if i get accepted im moving over there and studying, if things workout that is!

Let me guess, you flew KLM/northwest? Amsterdam's luggage claim rate is so bad. I have had bags lost when transiting there. I'd sooner get a direct flight from LHR or LGW. Bristol is an awful airport in terms of transport there, but as far as avionics goes. It's grossly affected by the weather and has a pretty small runway.

If you do get accepted, hope you get a scholarship. Being an international student in the US costs mega money.

Good luck. :)

Yes i flew KLM and northwest, my flight was delayed at Amsterdam so i had to run to checkin, i just about made it so it. A few of my friends have offered to let me stay at there house, i didnt even ask they just offered..

I have a few friends that work at intel as well so i might be able to get a job there and go on a day release etc.

You'll need to get sponsorship from Intel first. :)

I flew Northwest Airlines about 3 years ago. On my flight back from Minneapolis, my plane caught fire at 32,000ft. We had to make an emergency landing at Duluth which is up near the great lakes just south of Thunder Bay iirc. Anyway, that wasn't a pleasant experience, but it was what Northwest did, or rather, didn't do that made the situation worse. Being stranded on a runway for 15 hours, being put up in a hotel full of screaming kids and eventually getting back home 2 days late didn't make for a pleasant experience. No offer of recompense or anything. Just some $50 flight vouchers. Yeah, thanks Northwest!

Least I came back alive though!

LOL

Best Airline I've flown is South West Airlines that operate in the midwest and western part of the US. Just a cheapo internal company, but very good value, always on time and nice staff. Flewn with them a number of times.
