My LIGHTS warning lamp keeps illuminating on my dashboard, even when the headlights aren't switched on, and I don't know why :headvswal

 

I have noticed the headlamps seem to be getting poorer in strength (not that they were very good when I bought the car).

 

At the moment, all I can think that needs doing, is to boost the battery's charge, or get the alternator checked out.

 

Any ideas?

Brake light out?

sounds like somones done a fog light mod on the rear lights and the cars light bulb warning thinks the bulbs blown;)

or a brake light is out

when i press my brake pedal me lights, light, lights up always has done this. I have modded lights though.

do a search mate, something to do with the bulbs iirc, nissan bulbs dont do it
