I have added this into the calendar on the forum. We can apply now for either individual car entry or as a club. I will be free that weekend so will be attending. If we could get a club entry like Simply Japanese that would be excellent. Link below: https://www.visiteastbourne.com/magnificent-motors "Magnificent Motors is established as one of the biggest FREE motoring spectaculars on the south coast. With more than 1000 vintage and classic cars, motorbikes, buses, and more expected to display on Eastbourne's Western Lawns and Wish Tower Slopes with live music entertainment in tow throughout the weekend! The long established free motoring event regularly at…

I am hoping to organise the first meet (in the south at least!) of 2021. As the September one didn't happen, I am suggesting we try the Boxhill to (almost) Brighton route again. Although the pub will be closed we can park up on Seaford beach for a picnic. Please let me know if you can make it! The route would be Box Hill in Surrey to the beach at Seaford, East Sussex. The route takes in some A roads, B roads and dual-carriageway. I have been on some of these roads before, but never been to Boxhill! If people met in car park at 10am, with the aim to leave around 10:30am, the route should take about 2 hours, so we will arrive at the beach around 12:30(ish), just i…

I have planned another trip for people to meet up and drive: Boxhill to (almost) Brighton! The route would be Box Hill in Surrey to the Smugglers Rest at Telscombe Cliffs on the edge of Brighton (ish). The route takes in some A roads, B roads and dual-carriageway. I have been on some of these roads before, but never been to Boxhill! If people met in car park at 12pm, with the aim to leave around 12:30pm, the route should take about 2 hours, so we will arrive at the pub around 14:30(ish). The pub has lots of outside seating, so as long as the weather is nice a large group of us shouldn't be a problem. The pub also has a reasonable sized car park and the views are…

I have planned another trip for people to meet up and drive. I've tried to have this one further down the coast so South and maybe some South West guys can come along! The route would be Salisbury to the Roman Villa at Fishbourne on the edge of Chichester. The route takes in Some A roads, B roads and a leg stretch at Cheesefoot Head. I have been on these roads before, but not for a long time. If people met in Salisbury at the cathedral car park at 10am, with the aim to leave around 11am, the route should take about 2 hours with the leg stretch so we will arrive at Fishbourne around 1pm. There is a cafe there so lunch can be bought or brought.

We are planning a meetup and drive on Sunday 26th July 2020. I know this is Simply Japanese day, but as tickets are limited to 500 and everything in the grounds is closed, I sadly decided to give it a miss this year. Instead Naz and I have planned a trip out around the East Sussex area ending with a picnic in Crawley! We are going to meet about 10am on Eastbourne seafront for a meet and greet (at 2m distance of course!), then set off on a little route I have planned on some nice roads to Tilgate Park in Crawley where we will have a picnic lunch. People can then drive home at their own leisure. Parking on Eastbourne Seafront can be a pain, but 10am on a sunday s…

Over the last couple of years since ive been a member, there have been countless requests for info on garages north of the border who can and are willing to work on Z32's. This thread is intended to assist members in finding them, if you know of any good garages pass on the info and i'll add them .....No blatant advertising or it will be deleted. If any garage wants to advertise on here leave a message for the TLO. As always, for routine servicing and repairs any good garage with half decent mechanics should be able to carry out the work, so you should find one locally, In the event of major work or fault finding difficulties then you may want to try some of the fol…

Hello, Sunday 15th, I am planning a coffee morning at my house for people to swing by, look at each others cars, go through my vast collection of bits (and hopefully buy some!) and then head off for a bit of lunch and an afternoon drive around my local area. People would be welcome from 10am onwards! Let me know if you are interested in coming!

Welcome to everyone. Here is where we will set up regional meets in the South of England, be that a small gathering to hopefully something larger. Please feel free to post your location along with an introduction if your new to the group. This will make it easier for the regional event organisers to arrange something close/centred to members and for all of us to get to know each other better. Bellow is a map for you to confirm that you’re in the right group. (South East, South West and London) Hope to see you all soon, Chris. (Havant, PO9,) Edit to match the map used in the census.

Magnificent Motors at Eastbourne is being held on Saturday 2nd May & Sunday 3rd May 2020. Tickets to show your car are free, but you must got to the website and pre-book as it fills up fast. Link to website here: http://www.magnificentmotors.co.uk/ Both days start with a calvocade, a convoy down the seafront to the show ground (The Western Lawns), then you get parked up and spend the day either at the show or around Eastbourne as the seafront is a 5 min walk from the town centre. There are plenty of hotels for accommodation, with most actually on the seafront. I have booked both of my Nissan's in for the show and would be good to have some more p…

Copied from Steve Burns: Sunday, 2nd February is the next South East Z Group (SEZ) meeting which Mike organised for so many years. It was felt that this meet should be held in Mike's honour and thus provide an opportunity to show our respects and share memories of a great man who will be sadly missed. The meet will commence at 1pm at the Halfway House pub, West Horndon, Brentwood CM13 3LL (which is between the A127/A128). An area has been reserved from 12 pm for anyone who arrives earlier and is booked under George (Mr. G),s name It would be great to see as many people as possible. (Please can you also spread the word about this event as I know that not everyone…

Hi guys Who would like to join me for New Years meal at the Red Lion at Chalton, near Waterlooville on one of the above dates? Time to be arranged but let’s say around 1900. This isn’t a car meet (however is a venue I’ve used for meets before, is a wonderful pub and somewhere I intend to set a few meets up in the summer) but a gathering for us South Coast members to say goodbye to 2019 and welcome in 2020. Please vote for the dates you can attend (this is a multi choice poll) and please DO NOT VOTE if you’ve no intention of going. Chris

Hi guys Who would like to join me for Christmas dinner at the Red Lion at Chalton, near Waterlooville on Friday 13th of December at 1900? This isn’t a car meet (however is a venue I’ve used for meets before, is a wonderful pub and somewhere I intend to set a few meets up in the summer) but a gathering for us South Coast members to say goodbye to 2019. Partners are more than welcome and I may be able to arrange accommodation for those who might be interested in an over night stay. Please list your name here. Names will need to be placed by Friday 15th so I can make the reservation. Chris

After discussing with Howard, we thought an end of season meet for the southern/London lot and anyone else from further afield would be a great idea! This is a family day out too as we are suggesting that as part of the meet those who want to can visit the Brooklands Museum. I'm also going to see whether it would be possible for us to get access to the small amount of banked part of the circuit that's left, I can't promise anything although I do have an angle on it it by way of an old family friend who is a volunteer there, so tentatively might be able to pull that out of the hat. So for photo opportunities (and Joel with his drone), this could be rather interesting.…

Have received the entry form for the event this year. Always a nice turnout of interesting cars, supporting a good cause raising money for a local hospice. https://stnicholashospice.org.uk/fundraising-events/classic-and-sports-cars-by-the-lake/

Sign up thread for the August 23rd to 26th Bank Holiday weekend at Fat Lamb Inn, Ravenstonedale, located between the Lake District, North Pennines and the Yorkshire Dales. Dates voted for The venue is great, with warm welcome and brilliant food. I think we all put on a few lbs last time  as well as throughly enjoying the driving to, from and around. Previous visit we stayed 2 nights, with a great drive around the North Pennines on the Sunday, and general consensus was we need another day/night to make best use of the journey from the south, and appreciate the roads and scenery. So this time, we have reserved a 4 day/3 night weekend, although you a…
