Hello all. Having recently acquired my zed and with plans to start preparing it for drifting I would like to get it checked over and serviced by someone that knows the cars. Can anyone suggest a good garage that I could take it to that has a bit of experience with them and can give it a good going over for me? I don't mind a bit of a drive to the right place. Cheers

Guy's, I will be getting my car MOT'd next month ready for the summer so will look forward to arranging an EA event and meeting some of you. This said I understand that it would be rather selfish of me not to support or attend something in the meantime. If anyone has any ideas please post them here and we can see what the response is? With the weather being so unpredictable at the moment I am struggling to think of a good venue so please add your thoughts. I live in Barnham on the Suffolk/Norfolk border, 25 minutes from Norwich 15 minutes from Bury St Edmunds. I was thinking that maybe if you let me know your availability over March, we can get our heads togethe…

  8. Started by Stephen,

As many of you know my intention was to get a meet going in march in the Dorset area, most likely a cruise out from Swanage to Poole. with some fairly good weather atm, I suggest are hash of this non starter... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?160093-upcoming-south-central-mini-meet-and-cruise&highlight=swanage So who's up for it and what sort of dates would be good? I am thinking a Sunday. Open to suggestions of modifications to that plan as well.

Hi guys for some reason a few of you it spits back the PM apparently you don't wish to receive PM's, possibly because were not "friends" that's a bug to be worked through but hey. So anyways.... To overcome this and make it available to Regis, here is this months: Hi guys, So March is here, where an earth did that come from? Longer days are coming and the last few days at least have seen some good weather. The long term forecast seems to be for this current fog/overcast conditions mixed with sunny days to continue through this month. so maybe we can squeeze something in before the end of the month, the previous plan was to have a meet going through from Swanage. Hi folks I've put all the details for this event under the NW events heading http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?175348-Weston-Park-Classic-Car-Show-this-Easter However this event is actually close to Cannock, Telford and Wolverhampton so being near the border of the West Midlands / North West regions I've added a link here so Midlands members don't miss the listing to this big car show cheers Rich

Hi folks, As mentioned in the "Club Announcements" section, Harby300 (Kevin) has very kindly stepped up to the role of joint REO with Bird (Lee) for the region. With the recently enlarged area, it made sense to have 2 REOs; to ensure more activity in organising events in the area..... So please welcome Kevin to the fold; and thanks for volunteering Kev - I know you'll do a great job mate!! Richard:cool:

  13. Started by Lexx,

Morning folks. Just got word from the organiser that Fastlane 2014 has been booked for Sunday May 11th. This is in Corbridge, a short drive from Newcastle. It's unfortunate that this happens to be the day after Japfest, but for those who live oop-norf or Scotland and don't fancy the large trek down to Castle Combe this might be for you. It's a small local show, but gets good turn outs from the TVR, Porsche, Ferrari, and Corvette owners clubs. As well as various local clubs. If it's the same as last year, anyone showing a car in a club stand gets free entry. I'm going to initially book a 10 car stand and will be inviting this club, Z-Club, a…

  18. Started by Rata2ie,

Towards the end of May there will be a new road opening between Corby and Kettering (Officially called the Corby Relief Road) that will move the A43 away from Geddington where I live. This road has seen 15 years of campaigning and to finally see it nearing completion is a great relief to our village. Anyway, the leader of the County Council is arranging an event to mark its opening. The Geddington Scouts are arranging to cycle the length one way and then a cavalcade of "interesting" vehicles will travel the other way and break through a ribbon to make the official opening. As he was a trustee of Silverstone, he is trying to arrange for an F1 car to lead the…

Hi all, I know, I know ,I know! Its very early for any kind of solid commitment but!!!.... I have been in contact with the owner and management team of this venue and as I have said in another post, this is a brilliant event for our region and is by far one of the biggest dedicated to cars on our doorstep. It looks like it will be August/September again next year and it could be a lot of fun. In the past this has only been a one day event attracting over 400 cars. The plan for 2014 is to run it over the whole weekend including arrivals and entertainment on the friday night. The management team are in the throws of making this event bigger than ever. Now, do…
