First attempt at a poll thread so bear with me. Looks like I will arrange this meet since ScottyWill is MIA. I guess a Sunday would suit most people. OK poll to see which date suits most people to allow a good turn out. I guess what we should do is arrange the meet at a majority of attendees and get a volunteer from the area to arrange a spot and route for a wee drive. Closing date for this is 4 days from now (4th of April) to allow us to pick a date then move onto a venue etc before we need to meet. Dave G

OK I take it that Scotty Will is still AWOL. We were planning on meeting in April sometime. If anyone else would like to do another one in April sometime post your name below and we could get one sorted. Once we have a full "whos going" list, we could pick a venue to suit the majority. Since we are missing our events coordinator I suggest that if we get a load of guys from say Edinburgh then we pick that as the location and get one of its local guys to decide on the meet and a drive someplace. What do you guys think? Dave G Ill keep updating: Dundee - Dave G Dundee - Ronnie Dundee - Craig-S Edinburgh - Paul300zx Glasgow - Petrolhead …

There is due to be a track day here on Sat 1st April, but they are looking at cancelling due to lack of numbers (mainly becasue they've only just sorted out their dates and their advertising is ) I've spoke to Pauline at Lydden today and she's said if they can get a total of 30 cars they'll let it run (which will mean lots of track time) If anyones interested post up here and give Paul;ine a ring on 01304 830557. Web address is http://www.lyddenracecircuit.co.uk/home.htm It runs from 9 til 5 and is £120 for the whole day. I'm real eager to attend so get the season started on a high. Thanx, Ben

THE EIGHTBALL RALLY HAS ARRIVED! Hi all, This is to formally announce the launch of the Eightball Rally 2006! After months of planning- it's finally here... It will be an exclusive, never-been-seen-before motoring extravaganza! The Eightball Rally will be a 4-day rally around the UK- a celebration of fun and adventure for Japanese Sports Car enthusiasts. For too long now, owners of Japanese Performance Cars occasionally chat on Web forums, rarely go to track days, and give each other a nod when passing in the street. They don’t have an opportunity to get out there with like-minded people and celebrate what draws them to their awesome cars: a love of …

Hello all I'm testing the water as hopefully the registration forms for Japfest should be dropping through my door any day now  Last year I booked two track sessions and I was wondering if it would be worth going for three this year. Times - I am going to try for 10.00am, 1.00pm and 3.00pm (can't promise this but can but try) Costs - last year each track session set you back £19.25 (I'm presuming it will not have gone up that much this year) Let me know if you are up for 1/2/3 track session. You don't have to do a track session to come and enjoy the fun but I'll sort this side of things out later. I will be sending everyone that has tu…

Would anyone be interested in a paintball day on Sunday 2nd April? I know it's not car related but I think it's something different and a good chance to have a laugh and release some of that built up fustration. If you are interest please let me know in this thread. --------------------------- **Edit** A little more info i.e. prices etc. Location Address: Mayhem Paintball Pryors Farm Patch Park Abridge Essex RM4 1AA Prices £18 for the day, which includes gun hire, overalls etc. Paintballs are 6p per ball or 5p per ball if bought in boxes of 2000 (I recommend buying a box between 4 rather than going solo). What do ya reckon? Post up yer name please. And then we can pick up any Sheffield area peeps at J31 just before we get on the M18 So who's up for this then??? :c…
