Hello, I am new here and have joined your happy band because I am nearing the day when I purchase a 300ZX. I have wanted one for a while (since I was 13 when the came out that is a while!!!) and have decided that I will buy one in January. I am here really to find out as much as I can, so I can buy the best possible car. I am looking for a 2+2, other than that I don't care if it is Import or UK, Turbo or N/A. Hi Guys Due to success of the last one, BIG KIM and I thought it would be good to go here in the Summer this time. Plan is to meet up with the NE crew on Sunday 24th June at 11am. as most of you know by now our focus for our summer event is billing ,but for you hardcore jae fans you can attend the z club stand im sure after talking to suzy today there will be a few zeds attending but not alot because every one is going to billing the week before and cant do both weekends, so turn up and put your car on the stand im sure there will be plenty of room. see you all at billing jason and kim

Ok, summer has arrived and the air con has disappeared. Well it still works but it's not cold enough to cope with a hot sun and black interior. Ours is a Jap import which had the R12 gas originally fitted (not sure if UK cars are similar). The previous owners have had this recharged with drop-in replacement gas rather than changing the connectors and seals to be compatible with R134a. Problem is, I can't find anyone in the area who can top it up with the replacement gas. Any suggestions for suitable people on the south coast? Ian A.

As title, the date for this years JAPS (Japanese Auto and Performance Show) is Sunday 1st July, at Thoresby Hall, Nr Ollerton, Notts (same location as previous years) Details here >> http://www.classicshows.org/thoresby_park.htm Always a good show, with (normally) very good weather. I am having a Birthday party this comming sat at the club. Children are more than welcome, they can clear off onto the courts and play silly games why the adults indulge. You are all more than welcome to come along and keep Wozza entertained. Pleanty opf beer for all ;). It also adjacent Rochford Rail Station, so walking is a doddle. Airfield/instruction day 1 west sussex Dorset Jap car club have an airfield day with a couple of spare places due to drop outs. I'm going along in the rex and there's another place to fill. Is anyone on here interested? The day is part exercises to practice specific techniques such as skid control,weight distribution, heel and toe, etc and then onto a makeshift track to bring it all together. I've done a few of these days and also had driving instructin and its been extremely well worth it. I reckon you save the money just by the fact you are driving better and dont trash your car so much. They are great fun with no pressure, and you can explore the limits of the car …

Hi All Having spoken to several of the Midlands Members over the past couple of weeks, they were of the opinion that, with all whats is going on on the meet side of things i.e. Jap Tuning Show at Silverstone yesterday, Jap Show at the Pod coming up shortly and the Thoresby Show at the beginning of next moth, the calender was beginning to a look a litte crowded, and trying to set a date for a meeting in June would be virtually impossible, which could also affect the amount of people attending. Therefore, bearing in mind the views of the members, there will be no official Midlands Meet for June. Will keep July under review and see how that pans out. Regards Dav…
