Hello members, Just to make everyone aware, Athene, 300zx_girl has accepted a request to assist with the TLO role. I have asked for this assistance due to my personal circumstances at present, which may mean that I will not be able to respond as quick as I would like to any issues that raise their heads. If there is any issues, and I am uncontactable, please feel free to contact her, and she will do her best do help. On a personal note, I have been reading with interest the recent posts regarding how the trading section should be run. After reading through it, it seems that there is confusion around what the current rules are, may I suggest that …

Members, As you all know, we had to cancel our original annual summer event at Billing Aquadrome, due to bad weather. This event was to be shared along with the ZClub and other Zed related UK clubs, to join in the celebrations marking 30 years of the ZClub. Derek Sulley from the ZClub has been working non stop since the cancellation, trying to find an alternative date and venue. We are now in a position to confirm that the event will be held on the weekend Friday 7th ~ Sunday 9th September 2007. The NEW VENUE: Sherbrooke Scout Camp, Mansfield Lane, Calverton, NG14 6HP. This site has some excellent facilities. (Some will not be available to us this year du…

I'm sorry to have to be the one to break this news but unfortunately Billing Aquadrome have cancelled next weekend due to the weather. The ground is that bad currently, the site organisers are hiring in pumps in an attempt to shift the surface water. However, the weather forecast for the next 10 days is not expected to be any better and therefor they have decided to call it off today. They said they wanted to give the car clubs as much prior notice as possible. Obviously we are devastated, as this was meant to be our main summer event this year. We have spoken to the ZClub and they are still committed to holding their 30th annivessary later on this summer at Bil…

Decided to post this as no matter how many times it's mentioned, no-one seems to know. The 'Rides' section is currently being worked on, and therefore will not accept any updates. As sonn as the I.T. Guru has sorted it, im sure he will inform all. I cant go into detail, as my I.T. knowledge is, 'minimal'!! Sorry for all the inconvenience it seems to be causing.

Timing: 16:00pm Saturday 14th July in the marquee Members questions: If any member has a specific question they would like to raise at the AGM, can they please PM myself ASAP. This will allow the committee, to hopefully give an answer there and then, rather than having to say 'We'll find out and get back to you'. I will then compile the list of questions and we can go through one by one at the AGM. The Club Annual Awards will be held on the Sunday morning around lunchtime. Voting for Club Awards We previously announced that the awards would be done online before Billing. However, this way hasn't been the most popular method, with only…

As you are all aware, we recently lost a member of this forum. A wreath, funded by the Club has been arranged for the funeral. It is in the style of his user name, JAYPSC as it is understood that this was his I.D. on many forums and how many people knew him. The Committee would like to thank Syko for arranging the wreath. The donations made by members here will be sent to a charity of his family's choice. I'm sure that all the members will join the Committee and myself in sending our deepest sympathies to his close friends and family.

Members, The club committee has decided to add a new forum in the Private Members area to post official club announcements. These announcements are for subscribed members only and therefor not able to be posted in the Announcements forum in the Open forums. To kick it off, AndyP will post the clubs accounts on a monthly basis. This will give subscribed members an up to date snapshot of how the club is doing financially. We will also be posting an official Banlog, giving details of who, why and for how long a member or registered user has been banned from the forum. Let's hope it will be some time before we need to post our first ban. This Banlog is in res…

For some reason, it has been said on more than one occasion recentley, that I want to ban Mike Kirby from this forum. I can announce that at this present moment in time I have no intension to ban Mike, and have never stated I will, and even funnier, I could have if I wanted to, surprisingly easy!! Hope that has cleared up any misunderstanding there may be.

As stated in the 300zx.co.uk Club Constitution, section 11c regarding the Chairman's position becoming vacant, and as we do not have a 'vice-chairperson' at present, the committee has agreed that Andy Pingham (AndyP), will take on the role of Vice Chairman. This appointment has been decided as we have not appointed a Vice Chairperson, and it is felt that it is clearly needed in keeping with the club's Constitution. Andy will continue his role as Club Treasurer, and any financial questions regarding membership will still be dealt with by him. Once again, Andy is a long standing member, and his enthusiasm for attending event's, etc, is truely surprising as hi…

As stated in the 300zx.co.uk club constitution, section 11c regarding the Chairman's position becoming vacant, and as we do not have a 'vice-chairperson' at present, the committee has agreed that Iain McIntosh, Mac1, will take on the position as 300zx.co.uk club Chairman. 'Mac' will also continue his role as TLO as well, and Neil Randall, Shunter, will continue to assist Mac in his TLO duties. Iain has been one of the long standing member's of this forum, and has a very good knowledge regarding the in's and out's of the forum. Iain is also a very enthusiastic member of this forum, and im sure you are all aware of his 'Toy'. Im sure Iain will post a mes…

There have been a few threads posted, questioning when the Club annual elections will be held. Due to recent events inside the Committee and on the forum, the Committee, as announced earlier, are going to review the AUP and the Club Constitution. Once the reveiws have been completed, elections will be held. We are hoping to hold the elections in January 2007, details will be posted nearer to the time. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our members for their patience, and hope that you will bear with us at this moment in time. Regards 300zx.co.uk Committee

In responce to the many call's we have received regarding the club's Constitution, and the Acceptable Use Policey, the committee have decided to review both these document's, and change if deemed necessary. This is obviously quite a task to take on, and will be an ongoing issue for the next few weeks. We would hope to have any change's made, posted and available for veiwing, hopefully within the next 6 weeks. We will keep you informed should this take any longer than anticipated. Regards 300zx.co.uk Committee

It is with regret that the Committee has to announce the resignation of AndrewG, (Andrew Glen), from the position of 300zx.co.uk Club Chairman. He has decided to step down to allow himself more time to concentrate on developing his business. Andrew has been the Chairman since the formation of the club in 2003, and during his time has assisted the club grow from it's infancy, into the organisation as it is today. The Committee would like to extend their thanks to Andrew, for all his assistance, wish him very well in the future and we are sure the rest of the membership will join us in that appreciation. We know that he will not be a stranger to the club…
