I have recently purchased these alloys from Nad300 :http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=63722 In total I ended up paying £350.00 as agreed then he wanted an extra £27.50 for postage £377.50 all together. He then said the alloys where in good condition but the mos…

My mate who runs a welding and fabrications workshop has offered to remove the engine, rebuild it and fit it for free! We will do this together and although we have never worked on a Zed to this extent I have sod all to loose by giving it a go. I mean it's not like im worried about braking the engine! :D I expect you will be getting screams for help over the next few weeks as things take shape (Or not) Today things are clearer and better for me. :duffer: :duffer:

This one's for all the members who like to do video editing !! I need to find some sort of standalone piece of hardware which can do the following : Copy a DVD, or a particular chapter from a DVD to: DVD VCD VHS preferably all in one unit, all at the touch of a button and doesn't take 2 hours to copy a 2 hour DVD !! This system will be used for maybe 5 - 10 videos a week, so it's not for huge scale production, however I cannot be arsed with seperate VHS / DVD players / recorders and then having to rip all the videos to my computer to make them into a VCD ! If anyone knows of such a device or can point me in the right direction i would be eternally g…

Ok, If any pro's are viewing you can tell me where to go! By changing an angle by a few degrees, or just taking time to view the setting, you can make professional looking photographs of your car.(i've still yet to do it but some day i will get lucky!) here's how. Firstly a 4-6 megapixel camera is fine, i've had sony, HP and now Nikon. I find the HP software easiest to use and still use it with the Nikon. 1. when you're car is nicely polished up, take it somewhere for the day, just with photo's in mind. If you're lucky to live somewhere scenic then that's even better. 2. remember, the plainer the background, the stronger you're Z will look. unbroken horiz…

...to own a 300zx! I bought james' (RS200tez) black N/A on the weekend. It's fantastic, a real credit to it's former keeper. The only plans I have for her are to keep it well serviced and change the brakes and maybe the exhaust (it's the factory one - 15years old!). Thanks to all of you for the warm welcome and advice you gave me last week it really gave me confidence to go through with buying one (a good forum is even better than a warrenty IMHO!). And special thanks to James and his family for making the stressful event of buying/selling cars so enjoyable (cheers again for the ride in the TT!). I plan to be at the weston-super-mare meet i…
