General Discussions - Non 300ZX

Very few aftermarket bumpers I like for the Zed. Infact, almost none, never find any of them marry up with the original lines of the car. However, stumbled across this one. The whole car looks gorgeous, but really liking the front bumper. I'll never get one, but what is it? Here's the rear bumper which is also very nice. Could quite happily loose the pram handle, but this Zed is a very nicely modded one.

NO!-not engines,got the wifes SWB in today to have a mosy around-I knew we (she LOL!) needed an exhaust but found out today it has Jaguar back boxes on! :o -so looking at de-cats and rear system,after pricing em' up at around £500 I wonder if it's easier/cheaper to see the exhaust guy! Also front pads are shot and must try and fit the front bumper better! :x: So all in all she is in pretty good shape-lets hope it stays that way! ;)

Why oh why is the 'net so full of shite that you can't find what you want for all the crap on there :rant: I am hoping to buy a Mercedes SLK as a daily driver so I've tried searching on Yahoo, Google etc etc for information on forums, tuning and body styling etc but all I seem to get are crappy links to Ebay adverts, body kits for Chav Escorts and countless sites full of American drivel. WHY CAN I NOT FIND ANYTHING OF REMOTE INTEREST :rant: :rant: I do not have the patience to continue. No fekking wonder I'm bald - the net can be soooooo stressful when you can't find what you want. I have just been quoted £280 to have a Volvo estate car fully tinted. Does anyone know if thats a good price? It has a lifetime non fade warranty and is fully fitted with first class bonded film.

Ran some 0-60 in the SWB today Best I could get is 5.6secs. Averaged 5.7 on about 6 runs. Feels so slow though - my old red un was lots faster for sure (got a 5.1) - same mods 'part from ECU. May swap it over and see if I get an increase - was hoping to see low 5's. What are you guys running?

Loads of people say the 'advantage' of an NA is 'increased reliability' and less expense. I don't know how to test it out, apart from the fact that my car has just devoured another £400. Is an NA *really* more reliable than a TT??? Vote on things that have actually gone wrong rather than just an upgrade. I've had slave cylinder, master cylinder, tyres, exhaust, and 2 minor prangs- probably about £2000!!!

My son and his mate won two entries into FHM's search for a sports car driver 2006 round at Kings Cross in London yesterday. When he started telling me all about the high-street-honeys that were going to be there and other trackside totty I thought it might be a good idea if I went along to *cough* give him some tips on go-kart driving :) It was brilliant to be honest......although he only got 15 minutes on track to set a fast lap and go through to the finals in Barcelona. i ordered my asia tec bushido alloys a few weeks ago, only to be told the 19"s had not been made yet. imagine my fooking amazement when today i get an email saying that the alloys havent been made and that due to an error they werent even available for my car!!!!!! needless to say i fired a really shitty email to the head office about this.. i fookin love those alloys and got new tyres in ready for them pzero's sat in my conservatory... so i got my cash back for the alloys and told to choose something else from the range to which i replied " i am going to contact your head office and explain the farce reguarding my order and the fact i dont want a substitute…
