just wondering what driving sims people play... I'm after a realistic sim like Gran Turismo but for the Xbox (not the 360) I'm fed up with all the need for speed underground clones & would prefer realistic circuits if possible (such as the Nürburg Ring) Ta J

OK, hopefully i will be getting the zed back tomorrow with the new engine in. As you all probably know i have pretty much replaced the whole car now so im hoping the car will be ok for a while. I just have to hope that the oil filter from Mr F turns up in the morning now Wish me luck

I was at knockhhill today for their rally experience. Thought they would have given us something with a bit of grunt. But no they gave us group N Sierra Saphires. I thought it was seriously underpowered until he took it round the track. Was a great day out though. Anyway back to the Z. Had a wee rake about in the boot of the car tonight. The previous owner had kindly dynamatted the whole boot and under rear seat when he uprated all speakers to very good quality ones. He told me when I bought the car that he used home stereo wires to wire the new speakers in for both the front and back. I had a look at the standard speaker wire and it really is horrid. Cant belie…

Just fitted my new wheels, thanks to Billynomates :bow: Cheers bud, was nice meeting you, and putting a face to a name :) Wheels went on a treat, although I think I've pulled a muscle in my arm trying to get one of them on :headvswal Bloody hell they are hevey!! :D Washed them and am half way through polishing them up now (bad light stopped play ;) ) Again, thanks bud :D

A couple of weeks ago I did my first ever trackday. It was at Bedford Autodrome Gran Turismo Circuit. 3.7miles of pure joy lol :hyper: Booked from http://www.trackdays.co.uk. But be warned, the noise regs are 101db........ mine measured 105db and they gave me a red sticker on the windscreen to indicate i was too noisy and they were 'monitoring' me LMAO :nana2: :mac1: I got some new tyres fitted before i went, some may scoff at the brand, but let me tell you they were awesome. Marshal Matrac 235 front, 255 rears. They took half a lap to warm up, and when warm they stuck really well. Even had melted rubber comming off the tread blocks :dance: …

Nothing to do with Zeds but as lots of people like their pets I'd thought I'd post. We've always loved our animals and have been looking at getting a (or multiple) parrots. Been using http://www.parrotlinks.com/forum2/default.asp forum and chatting to lots of people. Its a big commitment (50 years plus and need lots of attention). Does anyone keep any parrots here? Not the Z thank fook but my astra sri. I parked my car as normal, reversed up to the brick wall of our secure car park. Above the wall is a grass verge going up to another car park. Basically the mini has gone across the car park, down the verge, hit the brick wall, landed on my car and then rolled onto its roof. (pics to follow when i get home) No one was hurt, no one was with any of the cars and it was 7.15am. Mine was the only car in the car park.. how bad is that. Also its a very nice day and I so nearly came to work in the Z this morning. fookin glad i didnt.. What a great start to the week.....

well im sitting here in absolute agony!! went and fooked me lower back up yesterday lifting a big ar5e roll of carpet .. picked it up once and i was fine moved it then picked it up again and wham, felt like being kicked in the back... couldnt move or do anything.... second time this has happened to me.. one of the many joys of this poxy disease is that it fooks everything up on my joints etc.. so i wont be getting into any damn car for the next week or so... b0ll0x.. :headvswal :headvswal anyone with a quick cure please let me know!!! oh yea and before you say it i already know a warm sheep on the back doesnt work!

Realistically how much should i ask for for my whole engine with turbos etc that i have just taken out of my car? As far as im aware the only probs are the rings (rear cylinders were low on compression) :confused: help please Oh and 2000 POSTS TOO ME :D
