well i got so bored today i started ripping the panels out of the interior and cleaning them up ready for me to re-trim next week, however i got so carried away i started trimming them today.. the brackets that hold them are now covered in a lovely coat of silver hammerite as they had some surface rust on as in pic 1, a quick clean with a wire brush and paint and they look like new. doing the rest of the panels this week, then.. when my under foam arrives from woolies coachtrim i can take the dash out and do that and the door cards. all in all a good day!!

Need to do some worktops and have a corner to join. It'll cost around £60 to get a shop to do it but I just wanted to know how difficult it actually is if I have the router and jig? Cheers Vijay

Totally Non-Zed :D I've mentioned it in the past, that I used to own a lovely example of an original 3-Door Sierra XR4i, well I've just found the negative of the only photo I ever took of it (photo has been missing a long time) As I've just aquired a new Epson Photo scanner, with Negative scanning, I thought that I'd scan it and post it on here :D So ...............

I have just returned from Motorfair at Knockhill, amazing to see so many Lambo's/Ferrari's/Porsche's all at once along with a few other exotics and japanese sports cars. Even the army and the supertrucks ripping apart cars was good to see as well. Seeing and hearing a Ferrari F1 car and a couple of GT cars on the track was amazing and even harder trying to take pics of them while on the track. Good day had by all...... Cheers John Crisp :hyper:

Hi guys, todays is my fiftyth birthday,[old git i here you all say] and so far its been pretty good, one of my boys bought me a Nismo oil cap which looks and feels fantastic, and my other son bought me Smithys fuel line kit ,just finished fitting it,looks great easy to do and can hopefully not worry about fuel smells anymore,no more tightning clips ,well not as many anyway, together with the grounding kit i fitted in red, ive had a good week, also fitted a new centre bearing on the prop on tuesday,a bit of a pig but worth it ,now super smooth,so all in all ,not so bad being fifty ,even if it does take me 5 mins to take a leek ! lol. :hyper:

Got a really odd problem, and it's probably one simple thing that's happened but I don't quite know how to find out! :( Basically my PC running XP won't boot up. It finishes the initial motherboard stuff- memory check, what drives are there, etc but then goes black screen and absolutely nothing else happens- no hard drive activity, nuffink. I tried booting off the parent XP installation CD and I get the same problem. I put in an old Windows 98 boot floppy with an NTFS driver and that gives me a prompt. Using that, it allows me to look in all drives EXCEPT my XP boot partition. The other partitions on the same NTFS drive are all accessable, as is my other FA…

...Jason (Yami) stripped that duff engine that a forum member sold me guaranteeing it as 100% running. Jason was quite amazed at what he found. Initially the compression was worse than the engine in my car that I want to replace. On closer inspection, one of the heads wasn't even torqued down and the bolts just spun off, one head gasket had a hole in it the size of a 10p piece, one of the fuel feeds had a gasket in it made out of an old cornflake packet. So, it was even worse than just a worn engine which was supposed to be 100%....with a head not even torqued down, the engine wouldn't have even been a runner. What was even more strange is that it had a new cam …

Thought as i had a bit of spare time i'd take my front wheel off and see what the new rims look like on there. Only problem, the flipping centre bore is too small on the wheel, gutted :( Remembered muffy saying they were off a supra when i bought them just checked and here are the stats... PCD 5 x 114.3 (for both) Offset 35-38 (35-42 for zed) C/Bore 60 (66 for zed) So what do i do and am i going to need spacers as well, this whole wheel replacement thing just got a whole lot more complicated and expensive :( (incidently not muffy's fault, i bought them thinking they'd be exactly the same silly me)

I went to Cardiff for a short weekend break with a lady friend and i did a fuel economy experiment. Doing driving miss daisy mode i got 410 miles from a full tank in my SWB jap import TT :hyper: However to get that and for the boost pressure needle to stay on bottom i really had to take it easy and do about 65mph on average on the A roads and motorways lol. Vigorous driving on a motorway run normally gets me 290 miles.

Alright I was told to check the water level and the wiring for the senser for the sender to the gauge. I know how to do the water/coolant right?? I do not know were the wiring is or the sender or whatever I am supposed to check? The gauge goes up and down rapidly especially when I put on the gas. I will check this as soon as I know were that is at. Thanks, Jordan
