I don't use the railway network very much. Whilst I don't mind traveling by train, I only tend to use it to get to airports etc. I'm off to Chicago next month and have just tried to get a price on a return ticket from Bristol to London....nothing mega, a relatively short 2hr trip. £154 return!!! I mean that's absolutely insane. How can the rail network justify this? It's criminal! Not to mention the fact that the government and all the greeny meanies are trying to tempt all of us out of our cars and onto public transport. I'm quite happy to use public transport....but those are NOT public prices. /rant PS...if anyone lives close to Heathrow and w…

Well DVD review actually, Children Of Men - Clive Owen Just got around to watching this film, fancied it when it first came out. Not quite what I was expecting, but a very good and graphic film. Not for the squeamish, as there is a bit of blood flying around, some of which is on the camera lens for around four minutes :D Just goes to show that that whole film sequence was shot in one go, which is very well done considering how much actually goes on in that scene. Movie site here >> http://www.childrenofmen.net/ Some may think it's a bit slow to start, and to be honest it is, but stick with it, it is worth it in the end. A very well made and put t…

http://petrolheads.com/sales/125027.htm (sorry i cant post any pics here now...) Finally replaced my zed. You guys have been lots of help over the past 20months or so with my zed, and recently brill with helping me replace my car. THe GT4 is a really great car and all you guys that talked me out of evos etc... DEFINATLY correct! The GT4 was dyno'd recently and managed to get over 300 bhp (just lol @ 302bhp!) and is nice and rapid. Im intending to still stick round here, and might see a few of you round at JAE later in the year. andy

.....Show. Looks like its gonna be a good one. ;) If any of you caught the episode in the last series where the lads went caravanning, I think you'll agree that, bar a few hiccups, it all went rather well. In fact, even as we watched the firemen put the last of the flames out, there was a general agreement that Jeremy, Richard and James should try this holiday lark again, and so, this week, you'll be able to see their American Fly-Drive special. The trip began in Miami, Florida, but instead of renting some dull saloon with white paint and velour trim from Avis, the three of them were each given $1,000 and a morning to see if they could buy an interesting car -…

We all the know the Z engine bay is pretty tight - putting your hand in to work anywhere results in a noise similar to a McDonalds straw being inserted through the plastic drinks lid! Anyway, saw this GTO on eBay a thought it looked even more difficult to work on than the Z! (The engine also looks 'off centre' compared to the Z!) So, apart from 300's and this GTO, are there any other contenders for the 'most cramped engine bay' prize? Si.

It's me again, having another moan. Who is it that keeps removing new posts? It can't be an automatic thing as sometimes they are deleted every 15 minutes or so when there are only a few threads and other times they remain unchanged for ages and five or six pages of threads accumulate. I often go to 'new posts' and glance through the thread headings to see what interesting ones there are (it happens sometimes, like this thread :p ) and then go back to the first page and start looking at specific posts. The problem is, when I have looked at one or two, I go back to 'new posts' and there are now only half a dozen threads showing. I would very much lik…
