Not that it'll interest anyone all that much, but I bought that Laguna. Handing back my MK5 Astra in lieu of an allowance and some tax relief. The MK5 although being a new car had the 1.7 CDTi engine which is as noisey as a diesel engine could ever hope to be. I am actually looking forward to handing it back. As much is it's a reasonable car, on long distances, it's horrible. Suspension/seats are too hard, the engine is way too noisey.....and to be honest, fuel consumption isn't that good for an oil burner. Anyway, got this Laguna (2000/W-reg) and must say, I'm impressed with it. It's the 1.8 16v RT Sport. Nice smooth engine, good road manners, comfy seats and it's q…

Morning! I am looking to put together a proper test rig for the HID kits I sell. Now, I know just about bugger all about wiring up electronics so thought I'd pass this by some of you who "are in the know" before I c*ck it up. Please have a look at the attached wiring diagram I quickly threw together. Basically, I have a 12V battery, a rocker switch and a wiring loom connector. How do I connect everything up so that I can use the rocker switch to turn the HID bulb on and off at will? The rocker switch I bought from Maplins yesterday has two terminals on the back marked "1" and "2". I take it this relates to positive and negative connection. If I connect the lot u…

Well, some of you know that I am in the forces and I have just been told that I am moving again. This would be my third move in just over 2 years, but I am very happy about this one. I'm off to Belize for 2 years :hyper: And I'm off in June. I can't wait to spend 2 years in the carribean. Only one downside is that the Zed has to go :( . my eyes are getting worse, im slightly short sighted and may soon need glasses, im seriousely considering getting them lasered and as sunderland is supposedly has the best eye infirmary in the country it makes the decision easier was wondering if anyone has had this done and could give me some info or their thoughts on the process something more to save for lol

Hi all, My friend has her house on the market at £285 and has had 2 offers at £280 which she is happy to accept. The thing is she's not looking to actually sell now till mid June and both people are happy to wait. The thing is does she take it off the market and ask for a deposit from either buyer? The estate agents has turned round to her and asked her to chose a buyer but how can she make sure they will actually wait till June? Cheers Vijay
