Opened my credit card bill this morning and got a bit of a shock - the balance was over 7k more than I was expecting!! Turns out that some b*stard has done a £7k balance transfer onto my credit card from another card. Then, to follow that, there's another £3200 balance transfer a few days later from a different card that wouldn't have shown up until next month! The CC company even stopped the card after the first attempted transfer, but before the automated system called me to check, someone called them early in the morning, managed to pass through whatever checks they did and had the block lifted. :mac1: The upside is that I'm not liable…

anyone know what it is. this was modified by my father in the 71 and featured in the magazine the pics were taken from in 1972, which i still have. quality not too good though. also theres a write up in there where a bloke was complaining that 4 star was going up 2p, from 22p to 24p, i hope hes still alive to see it now. at that time there was 2,3 & 4 star, diesel was about 8p a gallon & parafin around 5-6p a gallon. god, dont time fly. theres a used car price guide that i will copy and put up, that will maybe jog a few memories.

Right where to start??? First off i'm a complete novice. a while back i bought a Schumacher Menace 21, Brilliant lil buggy. Easy to start, reliable, very fast but.... bit feeble anyway i blow the engine up on that one. So... i was then after something stronger, bigger and better. So i bought a Hpi Savage, well after having the Menace the savage was slow! but hey i thought it strong and well built, when using it one day it got stuck in grass and i soon come to realise it was too gutless no torgue really slow just strong so i then bought the Hot Bodies big twin kit which is 2x .26 tuned engine, pipes, bigger wheels, bigger chassis, bigger twin fuel tank …

  22. borrowed this off a mate and its absolutely hilarious!! DVD of the live shows he does where he tells us about his travels across the world meeting people who's websites are unique in that when you do a Google search for two words, only one match occurs. naturally enough the first thing i did after id watched it is have a go at GoogleWhacking myself - and the best i could manage was 520 matches. i dont normally take to stand-up comedy but in parts i was crying with laughter   definately worth renting/buying. has anyone else seen this?

As Thoresby was cancelled the wife had a great idea for me to sort out the garage and the shed. Its amazing what you forget what youve got.In the garage i found some old workshop manuals for a 1947 Vauxhall 12 and in the shed the dog found a large toad(as youve probably seen in the news recently its rather damp in Doncaster)which he promptly ran off with and ate, much to the wifes disgust. He then spent a good hour searching for more.
